Hello guys,Yup! i come back to ranting again but this time its not my "essay" why GSD suck and forever suck. I am so agree with the frustrated she felt over these 10 years more. me too. I'm here because of Gundam Seed and Not destiny at all. I never consider the 2nd season of GS truly a part of GS or the continuation of GS.
The anime Sucks. unlike the gundam Seed Destiny The Edge Manga more thorough about Athrun Feelings rather than stupid fling/cling meyrin.

I honestly think the authors were trying to pander to BOTH fandom's at the time. Both Asumey shippers and us Asucaga's. It's like they tried to make this sequel as marketable as possible by not offending either of us too much. And this resulted in this horrible shipping mess.
These omakes, whatever you choose to make of them only bring more confusion to all shipdoms. There were no need to reunite Arthur and Athrun who barely even talked during the show...
Except if you wanted to bring more flamewars into this. They keep fanning the flame of this ridiculous war between shippers. Nobody really got THAT invested into this show and its minor characters, Taliya Gladys did not have that much of an impact on the plot except when she was used as a way of explaining why Durandal became who he was. So seriously who gives a shit about what happened to her stuff?

Not me that's for sure.And who gives a shit about Luna and Meyrin staying on Orb for Haumea's sake? Why the hell would they be there at all anyway? This goes against everything they showed during the final plus and the movies where they showed both of them AND Shinn (who used to hate that country and it's ideals) wearing Zaft uniforms... In Plants.
It's highly unrealistic to hope that Orb would accept Zaft soldiers as workers in its military forces... Especially after the country got attacked by Zaft. That would surely spark more hatred. Not to mention I would be ashamed of setting foot in a country I just bombarded if I were them. This makes me dislike their incoherent characters even more.
All this makes no sense. Kira not being more defensive and Lacus being all oohhh let's do a girls get-together dessuwaaaa WITH Luna and Meyrin that she barely knows makes no sense either.
I am really tired of this show's authors pandering to all fanbases in order to make sure we stay hooked on this bullshit sequel.
I don't think they have ANY reason to be all chummy and to stay in Orb after all the shit they pulled. Not to mention Cagalli is never part of any of this bullshit even though it's her freaking country.
I am really tired. Tired of the authors shoving unlikable and inconsistent characters down our throats like it's the last shot of rum at a boring party. The Destiny's characters were no match for the Seed ones, be it in terms of personality, depth of character, or even likability. To hell with Shinn and Luna or even Rey or Talya Gladys. I want to know what happened to Miri, Sai, Murrue, Andy... Gosh even an omake with Fllay I would be more interested in.
Because they all were well fleshed out and even if you didn't like them you had to admit they were meaningful, you understood their motivation and they were more or less coherent in their growth. Can the same be said about Shinn, or Luna or the others?
No. Shinn is angry at the beginning, crazy in the middle, and an unrepentant crybaby by the Final Plus. Luna is useless and has no impact on the plot from the beginning till the end. Meyrin is shy and demure at the beginning, crushing on Athrun in the middle, and still crushing on Athrun and apparently still following him around like a lost puppy by the end.
Arthur like Gladys and is her second in command at the beginning, and he remains exactly the same minus his crush by the end.
So who freaking cares what happened to these cardboard cut-outs?
